Today I was checking out watches; I'm not a watch type of guy but I do enjoy having time on my wrist when I'm working on the house or going to the beach; and of course I like dressing well. But I wouldn't even be checking them out if it weren't for a little accident I had today (almost dropped my phone checking the time by the lawnmower). Scared and kind of inspired; after researching a bit I went of and bought a Casio Men Sport-Dive Watch (which I'll post in a bit); following my little adventure I was stopped by some old guy asking me what where the best watches for working in the sun with heavy equipment (he probably thought I was working at the store) and he wanted the watch to be cheap but good quality, "No more than $15 dollars." he said.
Being the me that I am, I helped him out a bit with the decision making (I did the research, why not help some elderly with it right?) and what not, he got a watch and I ended up with a big question; "why isn't there a list of good cheap sport watches around to help people like him and me?" guess what happened... here I am... helping you guys be lazy again.

Sport watches are normally watches that go with casual, work, and sport apparel; they all have that "young" style to them. The trick of finding a good sport watch, is knowing what you'll use it for; finding each feature on the watches you're comparing and after you spot their utility level difference we go for the buy. Fashion, utility and durability is what we look for in sport watches.

Number 1: Casio Men's MRW200H-1BV Sport Analog Dive Watch

This is a men dive watch; features a black rubber wrist band with texture so that it doesn't stick to your skin if you sweat or you're swimming with or without a diving suit. Had big white numbers, counter for date, kind of medium sized; has a bi-dimensional rotating bezel, 100 meter water resistant. And if you're worried about the size then you can just check it out by clicking on our affiliate link over there. This is the watch that I bought, since it had a cool pattern, it wasn't that big and I've used Casio before; I know that they are cheap and a bit durable. I was having a hard time deciding between this one and the next watch on the list; the reason I went for this one was purely for esthetics and that this one's analog, it was more of my style. Classic black sport analog watch.

For the price is a cool watch; and for the month is on the top of the list.

Number 2: Timex Men's T5J571 1440 Sport Digital Resin Strap Watch

Timex watches are normally very well priced; this watch right here was the one giving me a hard "make a choice" time. 165 feet of underwater functionality, digital, black slim rubber wristband that sticks to your arm so it won't move even if you're wearing a diving suit. Has timer, back light, and it's actually very light. If you are looking for a watch for jogging; this is the one to buy. It looks cool for sports and timex has been known to provide well priced quality watches for years. I wasn't looking for a digital watch, so I didn't get it; but the elder that was asking for help did.

It is a great watch, and if I ever need a digital one this is the one I'll get.

Number 3: U.S. Polo Assn. Men's US8170 Analog-Digital Black Dial Gun Metal Bracelet Watch

I love analog watches; but this polo analog-digital watch although is soso priced it's big and bulgy; a bit heavy too but it's sturdy I guess. For $20 bucks it feels more like a luxury "sports watch"; it's kind of expensive to my liking. In my opinion you could find better watches than this one, But if you are looking for a big watch (you know for the bling..) I noticed I couldn't really see the digital numbers very well, so you're getting a analog during the day digital during the night watch.

If it had a brighter light I would say it was worth the $20 bucks but this watch is purely a labeled fashion watch that poses as a sport's watch (the one at the store wouldn't even synchronize well; you could set the analog watch at one time and the digital watch would just go faster; and looking at reviews online you'll see it's a mass effect).

Number 4: Casio Men's AQ160WD-1BV Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch

Now here's a real analog-digital watch worth it's price. Silver colored, metal, bright numbers, black interior with readable numbers and great date indicator in bright blue light. You can take this one underwater up to 335 feet, it won't stick to your skin, won't pull your hairs. It has alarms, time zone settings with daylight saving on/off. It's a bit heavier than rubber watches, but still weights less than the Polo watch above. The watch is medium sized and looks very formal as well as sporty; If you are worried about the band being to big you can search on google for "adjust a casio watch band" you'll see that it fits pretty well on every wrist.

This watch is on my buy when you go to the store again; you need one for formality.

Number 5: Timex Unisex T5K086 1440 Sports Resin Strap Watch

The fifth watch that was on top was this guy (was a pain finding it on amazon but alas; It finally appeared). This timex unisex watch is basically made for runners and people that like the outdoors. The screen is clear, has a very slick design; it's unisex so we can call this a lady sports watch as well as a guys sports watch. Water resistant up to 165 feet, medium sized and stylish; great for anyone that wants a sturdy lightweight watch. The band is comfortable, the resin design is something that most people don't take into consideration but it makes a difference. When I put it on, I thought it looked big for my wrist; but if you like the style it's a very good watch.

Indigo light is good, not the best but for 15 bucks it's beating the polo up there already.

Most sport watches are not ment to last more than a year; so why should we pay so much for something that has a 50/50 chance of not making it more than a few months. Hope you liked this month's list; cheap quality watches aren't always this easy to find.
