Well future readers, I was a little bored 4 hours ago and while looking for things to do I remembered a game that a friend of mine sent to my facebook page - MineCraft.  Let's talk about this awesome game that saved me from boredom for a whole 4 hours.

MineCraft is a First Person sand box game in all the sense of the word (or words?).  You appear in a randomly generated world, and you gather materials (blocks) that you use to construct stuff.  There's really no limit as to what you can make since you're dealing with "blocks".  Think of it like a crazy altered MMO lego world.  And you gather materials by punching the blocks that form the world.

The game is amazingly constructed; and it's not really for those looking for super awesome graphics ala GTA.  The graphics support it's distribution; thanks to the low graphics the game is super small being an easy "usb drive" portable game.  An not to mention that the website offers a 'classic' version that can be played directly on your browser.  So basically you can click here, and start playing minecraft classic right away.

Now you might come and say... "Oh loth, that game looks like junk... you say you can create anything with blocks but that can't be the truth... right?"

Well... not really; check this out.

Well? pretty sweet huh?  Minecraft is a whole new genre on its own; a game developed to be Sandbox; not getting the concept as a supplement like in GTA or Fallout.

The classic version is free, and the price for the latest version is completely cheap considering the hours you'll spend exploring an infinite world filled with random monsters. (Oh didn't I mention the game had monsters? - opps my bad - only in the alpha version though not the classic).

The correct link to the website is www.minecraft.net - check it out, it'll probably be one of your best time wasters.

Be lazy, and see ya all later :)
