Japan unveils wearable tomato gadget. Step aside apple watch.

This one doesn't even need anything else to be relevant.  A Japanese food company created a backpack robot that stores tomato.

The idea is to drink/eat a tomato while running to reduce fatigue and keep running.

It's cooler than a Gatorade bottle I'll tell you that.

Tugging a tiny lever in the foot moves the arms to catch a tomato from the shooter. It then rotates the fruit over the runner's head and holds it in front of his mouth.

Yeah... totally adequate.  The robot was unveiled for a Tokyo Marathon that's happening this weekend.  It apparently only weights 18 pounds (light right) and the device will go on someone for a five-kilometre fun-run.

Crazy? Yesh.  Interesting? Sure thing.  Useless? Well.. it's marketed as a wearable tomato machine so I guess it's not.

We have google glass right? I mean.. a tomato machine is a pretty neat upgrade.
