Guy fired for missing work. For 24 years.

This guy on the right is a hero to many, and a fool to many more.  A government official and an engineer in India that since 1992 hasn't been to his "job place" because... well... he didn't want to.

Officials tried him and have been trying to fire him for many years now but it seems there are many other government officials following his footsteps since it took them 24 years to process his lay-off.

And yes. He was receiving a salary for not doing anything...

This is our world.  Idiocracy anyone?
